As a Senator for Queensland I am trying to build a case for the Quilpie Shire Council to become eligible for the Drought Communities Program. This survey will serve as an input to my case. 

The Drought Communities Program is a $35 million program that the Federal Government has established to help councils invest in shovel ready infrastructure projects that can create jobs, stimulate business and sustain communities through the drought. Each council would have up to $1.5 million to invest in such projects.
